Summary

Working in Cambridge Strong links exist between the clinical service and the academic department within the Univeristy of Cambirdge. There are numerous teaching and research opportunities throughout the department including an active clinical trials portfolio. The post will currently be based full time in Addenbrookes which is at the heart of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the largest centre for biomedical research in Europe. CUH has been an NHS commissioned CAR-T centre since 2020, and there is an active cellular therapy trials portfolio. There is the potential for honorary university appointments dependent upon contributions to teaching and research. Funding has been agreed to build the separate Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital, which will include haematology, with a projected completion date in 2032.
