Summary
A warm, experienced, and reliable Nanny is needed by a family in Bristol to support their 13-year-old and 9-year-old children. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience, with SEN experience and tutoring experience highly desirable, particularly when supporting autism and ADHD.
Working hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 6:00pm, with the possibility of additional hours for the right candidate. The core schedule is approximately 24 hours per week.
Duties include:
Caring for the 13-year-old and 9-year-old children
Supporting the 13-year-old with online homeschooling
Providing educational support for a child with autism and ADHD
Assisting with tutoring and schoolwork
Supporting the 9-year-old with after-school care
Ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Organising age-appropriate activities and outings
Supporting the children's educational and personal development
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas tidy
Carrying out child-related housekeeping duties
Preparing meals for the children
Feeding the family's two cats
Working closely with the family to provide consistent support
A driver would be a bonus, although it is not essential.
The family is looking for someone caring, patient, organised, and confident supporting children with additional educational needs.
The family is looking for someone to start 30 September 2026.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
