Its local operations support clean, well-maintained public spaces and essential environmental services across the Cirencester area, helping communities manage waste responsibly and keep neighbourhoods looking their best.Key responsibilities• Drive a street-cleansing vehicle safely and responsibly on planned local routes• Carry out basic vehicle checks before starting work and report any issues• Support the removal of litter, leaves, dirt and other waste from public areas• Empty and replace bins where required• Use equipment and tools safely and appropriately• Follow route instructions, risk assessments, health and safety procedures• Work cooperatively with colleagues to complete daily duties to the required standard• Represent the organisation professionally when working in public areasSkills and qualifications• A valid UK driving licence appropriate to the vehicle• Safe and responsible driving skills• Good awareness of road, vehicle and workplace safety• Ability to follow instructions and planned routes• Reliable, punctual and physically able to undertake outdoor duties• A helpful, team-focused approach• Previous driving, street-cleansing, grounds-maintenance or waste-services experience would be usefulBenefits• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Overtime opportunities• Opportunity for permanent employment• Work that may provide visibility to local employersApply today.
