SEN Teaching Assistants

We welcome experienced SEN TAs, Learning Support Assistants and applicants with relevant experience in education, care, youth work or disability support. A TA qualification is welcome, but relevant experience may also be suitable, depending on the role.

Access learning under the teacher's direction

Develop communication, confidence and independence

Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Encourage participation and build social skills

Share observations with teachers and support staff

Some roles include personal care or mobility support. We'll explain requirements and relevant training before you accept a placement.

All SEN/SEND specialisms welcome

We welcome experience in specialist schools, alternative provision, pupil referral units, resource bases and mainstream SEND support, including:

Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)

Moderate and severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD)

Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)

Speech, language and communication needs
