Summary

Are you passionate about food and looking to start a career in the culinary industry? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Working alongside experienced chefs, you will learn all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety whilst developing the skills needed for a successful career as a chef.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation: Chop vegetables, scale and portion meat, and measure ingredients before service.

Station Support: Work under a Chef de Partie (section chef) to help plate and cook dishes during busy service hours.

Kitchen Rotations: Move through different kitchen sections, such as pastry, sauce, and meat preparation, to gain broad culinary experience.

Stock Management: Unpack deliveries, rotate stock, and check expiry dates to help minimise waste and maintain quality standards.

Cleaning and Safety: Maintain a clean and organised workspace while following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.

Entry Requirements
