Summary

- Facilitate induction for GP Registrars and provide enhanced support for international doctors and those new to the NHS. - Work with GP practices and education providers to ensure balanced, supportive, high-quality rotations. - Organise and deliver the educational programme (virtual and face-to-face). - Support learners and educators by ensuring good communication and resolving issues promptly. Ensure appropriate assessment processes including ARCP. Alongside core TPD duties, these roles will support key regional development priorities, including: Structured Learning Programme (SLP) facilitation The majority of sessions (at least 20) will support SLP delivery, typically on Fridays (morning, afternoon, or full day). Remuneration will be for one session per week across the full year, inclusive of leave. There will be a greater requirement for sessions during the first semester (AugustDecember), although salary will be evenly distributed across the year. Applications will also be considered if an applicant has the flexibility to offer 2 sessions of SLP facilitation per week. Currently these would both have to be on a FridaHealth Inequalities and Health Equity Focussed Training Six roles are reserved for developing and delivering training focused on health inequalities. These posts will be remunerated at 0.25 WTE (one session per month; 12 sessions per year), or at one session per week when combined with SLP delivery. Given fluctuating demands, successful applicants will also be expected, where possible, to contribute to wider GP School and GP Academy of Learning initiatives, including: Early consultation support iTAP for new starters (typically TuesdayThursday) Supporting doctors with neurodiversity, promoting inclusive and adaptive learning environmentsContributing to Trainers Courses and broader GP educator development Although postholders may be linked to a specific local programme, the role requires a flexible and responsive approach to working patterns and travel across the West Midlands. Flexibility throughout the year is essential due to variable workload demands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and forwardthinking GP education team within the West Midlands GP School. Successful applicants will play a key role in strengthening the GP Educational Academy, working closely with the Primary Care Dean and Head of School.
