About the Role

Hays Facilities Management are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK facilities management provider in the search for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a prestigious commercial building services contract in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven FM professional with a strong hard services background to take full responsibility for operational delivery, financial performance, client relationships and team leadership across a high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of all hard FM and building services activities across the contract.

Manage and develop engineering and operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved or exceeded.

Take ownership of contract budgets, P&L performance and cost control.

Drive health & safety, environmental compliance and quality standards across the site.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.

Identify and develop opportunities for service improvement and business growth.

Lead recruitment, performance management and staff development activities.

Produce operational reports and attend client review meetings.

Ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years' experience managing Hard Services FM contracts.

Strong technical understanding of building services maintenance.

Proven experience managing large commercial properties and FM contracts valued above £1.5m annually.

Demonstrable experience managing budgets, P&L and commercial performance.

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a facilities management environment.

Management qualification or equivalent leadership experience.

Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
