Monday to Friday 28.75 hours per week (5.45 hours per day) Term time only but includes inset days

Maple View School opened in June 2020 and is an aspirational specialist school in the SENAD Group portfolio for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties, aged 6 to 16 years. The school offers fully individualised and inclusive education and residential care for up to 18 pupils. The school is located close to Derby City Centre and is easily accessible by public transport.
We’re now looking to recruit a Cook to join our team at Maple View School. You will manage and oversee the provision of the catering service within an agreed budget and ensure the school complies with all food safety legislation.
The post will require resilience, patience and understanding in order to support and work alongside children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You must also be committed to safeguarding and ensuring all aspects of children’s welfare are your priority.
