Quality Healthcare Professionals, also known as QHPStaffing, is looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Complex Care Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants to join our bank team across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Complex Care Experience We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in carers with experience in one or more of the following:
* PEG care and PEG feeding
* Tracheostomy care
* Suctioning
* Ventilation support
* Epilepsy and seizure management
* Spinal injury care
* Catheter care
* Bowel management
* Moving and handling
* Hoisting and mobility support
* Medication support
* Pressure area care
* Personal care
* Monitoring and recording observations
* Other complex clinical care needs
Your Role
Depending on the needs and care plan of the individual you are supporting, your responsibilities may include:
* Delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care
* Supporting clients with personal care and daily living
* Providing complex care following appropriate training and competency assessment
* Supporting PEG feeding and medication where required
* Providing tracheostomy and respiratory support where required
* Supporting clients with epilepsy and seizure management
* Supporting individuals with spinal injuries and mobility needs
* Moving and handling
* Monitoring clients and reporting changes in their condition
* Maintaining accurate care records
* Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing
* Following individual care plans, risk assessments and QHPStaffing procedures
* Working effectively with families and healthcare professionals

Previous experience in complex care, healthcare, community care or support work is highly desirable.
Relevant complex-care training and competency will be reviewed as part of the recruitment process. Additional client-specific competency assessment may be required before undertaking particular clinical procedures.
