Summary

EXPERIENCED REFUSE COLLECTORS WANTED - MANSFIELD

The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced Refuse Collectors for ongoing positions with a well-known local council in the Mansfield area!

We are looking for

experienced, hardworking, physically fit and reliable Refuse Collectors to join the team.

As you will be representing the local council and The Best Connection,

a professional attitude and positive first impression are essential.

️ The Role

Your duties will include:

Wheeling bins to the edge of the pavement and loading them onto the refuse vehicles

Returning empty bins to properties

Heavy lifting, pulling and manual handling

Operating lorry machinery

Assisting with other council work, including the tidy-up scheme when required

Working as part of a team to ensure refuse collections are completed safely and efficiently

⏰ Working Hours

Start times can be as early as

06:00

Finish times can be as late as

16:00

Working days may vary depending on the rounds you are working on

Weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required during busier periods

Pay

£12.71 per hour

Increase after 12 weeks to £13.26 (due to be updated shortly)

You are paid a minimum of 37 hours per week

During busier periods,

weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required

Weekend/Bank Holiday hours will be paid at

time and a half/double time, where applicable
