The school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis for an immediate start, teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. Applications are warmly welcomed from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers / ECTs, with the school happy to provide ECTs with mentoring, guidance and ongoing support to help them develop their confidence and teaching practice.
The successful English Teacher will have:
• QTS with an English specialism, with ECTs warmly encouraged to apply
• Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver engaging, creative and differentiated English lessons
• A passion for inspiring students through English literature and language
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the English department
