Summary

The successful applicant will deliver an 8PA job plan of 6.4 PA DCC and 1.6PA SPA. Individual job plans will be devised with the successful applicant upon appointment but a suggested job plan is given in the job description. DCC activity will consist of 3-3.5 clinics per week, day unit support, vetting/advice and guidance, MDT and safeguarding meeting attendance. SPA time will include supervision of resident trainees, contribution and service development and clinical governance as well as maintenance of mandatory training. The post also offers the opportunity for the successful applicant to be involved in research The department is one of the leading specialist units in the country with a highly active research programme led by Professor Adnan Custovic, Professor of Allergy.
