o LOCAL: Living in or near Hexham.

o RELIABLE: Our clients rely on us, so we need to rely on you.

o MOBILE: You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

MAIN DUTIES OF OUR HOME CARE WORKER

We support our people to grow their careers, gain new skills, and thrive in a supportive environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Home Care Worker will include:

o PERSONAL CARE: Assisting clients with daily living tasks, including getting up/going to bed, washing, showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.

o WELL-BEING SUPPORT: Preparing nutritious food and drinks, administering medication safely at the agreed level of support, and undertaking light household domestic duties.

o Companionship & Independence: Actively talking and listening to clients, promoting their independence, and helping them maintain vital connections with family, friends, and the wider community.

o Recording & Reporting: Maintaining accurate, detailed care logs and medication records, and promptly reporting any health, safety, or safeguarding concerns to management.
