Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for an Health and Safety Officer to support their client with health and safety compliance across its premises and operations. You will carry out inspections, provide advice and help ensure safe working practices are followed. Contract is for 4 months in Bournemouth BH2 6DY.

Health and Safety Officer

Pay Rate: £16.61 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday

Contract length: 4 months

Location: Bournemouth BH2 6DY

Full driving licence needed and access to transport for work purposes.

Key Requirements

NEBOSH General Certificate essential; NEBOSH National Diploma desirable

Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations

Experience with inspections, risk assessments and health and safety audits

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent attention to detail

Approachable and professional, with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Inspect premises and operations to check compliance with policies, procedures and legislation.

Carry out risk assessments, safety audits and investigations and identify areas requiring action.

Provide clear health and safety advice to services, schools, staff and contractors.

Review and update policies, procedures, guidance, forms and toolbox talks where required.

Monitor accidents and incidents, maintain accurate records and support actions to prevent recurrence.
