Summary

Head of Legal | Rullion | Permanent | Remote

We're looking for an experienced

Head of Legal to join Rullion and lead on legal, employment law and supply chain compliance across the business.

Reporting directly to our

CFO, this is a broad and influential role where you'll act as our primary in-house legal expert, working closely with senior leaders and operational teams across the organisation.

What you'll be responsible for

You'll take the lead across:

  • Employment law - advising on legislation, employment disputes, claims, ACAS and tribunal matters

  • Supply chain compliance - overseeing umbrella companies, second-tier agencies and supplier compliance

  • Overseas workers - supporting compliant onboarding, right-to-work and overseas worker requirements

  • Contract management - reviewing, drafting and negotiating client, supplier and contractor agreements

  • Risk & compliance - advising on areas including IR35, GDPR, modern slavery and wider regulatory requirements

  • Process improvement - developing stronger, more efficient legal and contract management processes

  • Training & guidance - delivering legal training and making complex legal matters clear and practical for the wider business

This role would suit someone who enjoys having

real ownership and autonomy, while remaining close to the commercial and operational side of the business.

What we're looking for

You'll bring a strong background in

employment law, contract law and commercial agreements, with experience managing legal matters and contracts through their full lifecycle.

Experience within the

recruitment or contingent workforce sector would be particularly valuable, alongside knowledge of the regulations and compliance requirements that come with operating in this space.

We're also looking for someone who is confident working with senior stakeholders, commercially minded, solutions-focused and able to turn complex legal issues into clear, practical advice.

Flexible working

We're a genuinely flexible organisation, so this role can be

fully remote from day one, with access to our offices in

London, Manchester, Altrincham and Cumbria whenever you'd like to use them.

You'll also receive:

  • 25 days' annual leave + Bank Holidays

  • 4 additional Reload Days where you can take time to recharge and focus on well-being

  • Free access to our employee wellbeing and support service

If you're looking for a senior in-house legal role where you can have genuine influence across a business, we'd love to hear from you.
