Your new office
The Hays Oxford Public Sector Finance team is a highly productive, specialist business with strong momentum. Following recent fee performance we are creating an exciting dedicated regional temporary recruitment desk covering further education, higher education and Multi-Academy Trusts.
As we continue to build a more specialist business, this new opportunity will focus on Senior Finance temporary recruitment within the Education sector. You will develop a regional desk across the South, partnering closely with our Public Sector Senior Finance permanent consultant in Oxford and benefiting from the support of an experienced, high-performing temporary recruitment manager.

The opportunity is open to either an experienced recruiter or someone earlier in their recruitment career who can demonstrate strong commercial drive, resilience and the ambition to grow a successful temporary desk. The Opportunity
What can I expect day to day?
As a recruitment consultant you will gain exposure to a range of different activities whilst being supported by a structured training and development programme from day one. Some of your main responsibilities may include:
Source, interview, and match high-quality candidates to roles
Identify and proactively partner with new and existing clients through new outreach and business development calls to build better, profitable outcomes by understanding their hiring needs and challenges
Manage the recruitment process by guiding candidates and Clients through the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers
Be bold and curious, developing specialist market expertise by actively seeking to understand your customer's market
Take accountability for meeting targets and delivering your monetary goals that contribute to the growth and profitability of Hays
Be part of vibrant and inclusive culture that cheers on progress by celebrating personal and team performance
