Summary

Surface Repair Technician - Spider is advertising on behalf of a specialist surface repair and restoration company seeking motivated

Surface Repair Technicians and Trainee Surface Repair Technicians to join their growing team. This full-time, permanent role covers the

Ipswich to Cambridge corridor, with work across the East of England and Midlands.

About the role:

You will repair, restore and refinish a variety of surfaces, including stone, brick, marble, metal, ceramic, plastic and enamel, across residential and commercial sites. Specialist hands-on training is provided to develop your skills.

Key responsibilities include:

- Repairing and restoring damaged surfaces using specialist techniques

- Colour matching, refinishing and resurfacing to a high standard

- Delivering repairs to client specifications

- Maintaining tools, equipment and materials

- Completing documentation and following health and safety procedures

- Providing excellent customer service on-site

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm on site, plus travel time. Some weekend work may be required and is paid as overtime.

About you:

You'll be practical, self-motivated and detail-focused, with a good eye for colour and finish. Applications are welcome from experienced technicians and trainees looking to learn a skilled trade. Experience in surface repair, paint spraying, building/property maintenance, vehicle refinishing, construction, decorating or another practical trade would be advantageous, but

full training is available for the right candidate.

Due to fleet insurance requirements, applicants must be over 25 years old and hold a clean UK driving licence.
