Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a

Registered Manager / Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential care provider supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.

As a

Registered Manager / Deputy Manager, you will lead a 3-bed residential home, supporting young people while maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

This full-time, permanentrole offers a salary range of £33,000 - £45,000 and benefits. Experienced Deputy Managerready to step up into a Registered Manager will also considered

You will be responsible for:

- Providing effective leadership and direction to the care team.

- Building positive, trusting relationships with young people and supporting their individual needs.

- Encouraging participation in educational, recreational, occupational and social activities.

- Developing and reviewing personalised care plans and programmes to support individual development.

- Keeping staff informed of daily plans, priorities and individual support needs.

- Supporting the induction of newly admitted young people.

- Reviewing care records and associated documentation.

- Supporting recruitment, staff training, performance management and ongoing professional development.

- Managing activity-related funds appropriately.

Thecandidatesfromthefollowingbackgroundwillbeconsidered:

- Registered Manager, Deputy manager, Home Manager, Homecare manager,Registered Care Manager,Registered HomeManager,Deputy care manager,Deputy home manager, Assistant Manager,Care Manager,Assistant Home Manager,Assistant Care Manager or in a similar role.

What we are looking for:

- Approx 2 years of experience working within a residential childcare setting.

- Experience supervising and leading a team.

- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification.

- Background in developing and implementing personalised care plans.

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare -working towards or willing to undertake.Enhanced DBS check.

- Right to work in the UK.
