School receptionist (Key Time Thursday/Friday)Salary: Hay 12 (£26,427 pro rata)Contract: 15 hours per week, term time only. Thursday & Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. Warmley Park School and College is a South Gloucestershire maintained special school. It is a nurturing environment for pupils with a broad range of SEND needs whose ages range from 2 to 19. Through doing this, we enhance, not only our learners lives, but all those they touch.The RoleAs the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring our school runs smoothly. Your duties will include:Greeting and assisting visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed to the highest of standardsHandling phone calls and emails, providing excellent communication and customer serviceManaging the schools Management Information System - Arbor (including supporting attendance records and issuing correspondence)Supporting administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and scheduling appointmentsAssisting staff and students with general enquiriesOrganising and distributing office and deliveries.About YouWe’re looking for a warm, approachable, and highly organised team player who thrives in a busy environment. You should have:A minimum of 3 GCSEs at 4/C grade or above, including English and MathsPrevious experience in a receptionist/administrative role (school experience desirable)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office and Arbor experience beneficial)A positive and patient attitude with a good sense of humour.Ability to adapt and work calmly in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
