Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only plus INSET Days

Pay Scale: Grade 8 Point 20 £33,673 – Point 24 £36,581 (£28,963.3 - £31,464 pro-rata)We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Behaviour Mentor / HLTA to join the team at the Olympus Development Hub.

ODH provides short-term intervention and personalised support for students whose behaviour, attendance or social, emotional and mental health needs present significant barriers to success in mainstream education.

You will work directly with students to provide mentoring, intervention and classroom support, helping them re-engage with learning and prepare for a successful return to school.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver behaviour and emotional regulation interventions.

• Lead mentoring programmes and restorative conversations.

• Support teaching and learning across ODH.

• Deliver elements of PSHE and personal development.

• Work closely with families and schools.

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.

• Contribute to a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting young people with SEMH, behaviour or attendance needs.

• Understands inclusion and trauma-informed practice.

• Has strong behaviour management skills.

• Can build positive and trusting relationships.

• Is resilient, adaptable and solution-focused.
