Contract: Term Time only, PermanentSalary: Scale 1 (Pts 3) £25,614 per annum pro rata Actual Salary: £2,973.99 per annumHours: 5 hours per week (1 hour a day; Monday to Friday)Start date: As soon as possibleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Children’s Supervisor (also known as Lunchtime Supervisor). Job overviewChildren’s Supervisors will help supervise our pupils during their lunch breaks, ensuring a safe, happy and friendly environment. Children’s Supervisors will be aware of and support the implementation of all school policies especially any incidents concerning Safeguarding issues.Key responsibilities:• Supervision of pupils in the dining hall, playground, and school premises during the lunch period• Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding the welfare of pupils• Supporting a safe, happy, and inclusive environment for all children.The ideal candidate will have:• Ability to engage positively with children of all ages• Friendly, patient, responsible and a good communicator• Able to work as part of a team• Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing.We offer:• A welcoming and inclusive school community;• Supportive colleagues and a dedicated pastoral team;• Opportunities for training and development.The Job Description & Person Specification are in the attached documents.Closing date: 27th September 2026 at midnightInterviews will be held week as soon as possible after the closing date.
