Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for New Product Introduction and bringing

innovative products from concept to production? We're working with a leading Bristol-based manufacturer looking to strengthen their engineering team with an NPI Manufacturing Engineer who can play a key role in driving new product launches, optimising manufacturing processes, and ensuring products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role:

  • Lead NPI and product industrialisation projects.
  • Develop manufacturing processes, tooling and production methods.
  • Support prototype, pilot and production builds.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and SOPs.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production and suppliers.
  • Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
  • Support product launches and production ramp-up.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and cost.
  • Define production capacity, cycle times and resource requirements.
  • Ensure products are designed and released for efficient manufacture.

What we are looking for:

  • HND or Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • Proven experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience producing technical documentation and presenting technical information clearly and effectively.
