The Best Connection Sheffield is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers

for a variety of temporary, ongoing and ad hoc assignments with established clients across Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, regular shifts, additional hours or full-time employment

. With a variety of clients and assignments available, we can offer work to suit different levels of availability and experience.

The Role

Depending on the assignment, your duties may include:

Driving Class 2 vehicles on local and regional routes

Multi-drop and palletised deliveries

Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers

Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

Following all relevant driving, health and safety regulations

Manual handling, where required by the client

Start times and shift patterns will vary depending on the individual assignment.

Requirements:

A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

A valid Digital Tachograph Card

Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred but not essential

A professional and reliable approach to work

Good communication and customer service skills

No more than 6 penalty points, subject to client approval
