Post: Relief Physical Activity Consultant

Job Ref: L1438

Rate of Pay: £13.52 to £14.40 per hour depending on qualifications (KA Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £13.52 under the Living Wage Initiative. Term and Conditions apply)

Hours: As and when required

Duration: Relief

Location: Requirement to travel across North Ayrshire

Role Summary:

• To proactively promote and deliver within the Health & Wellbeing Service and all related projects and events

delivered by the Active Lifestyles Team

• Delivery of health checks and healthy lifestyle advice within local communities, referring to partner agencies

where appropriate

• Delivery of consultations and safe and effective exercise prescription for participants referred into the Active

North Ayrshire Physical Activity on Referral Programme

• Maintain databases and records within the Physical Activity programme ensuring compliance with

confidentiality and access

You Must Have

  • Qualification in physical activity, health, wellbeing or fitness (HND or CIMSPA Level2)

Desirable:

  • REPS Level 3 Qualification in Physical Activity on Referral or be working towards this.
  • (Assistance may be given to the right candidate in gaining this qualification – Training salary LW £13.52 per hour)

    • Full Drivers Licence

 Successful candidates will meet the cost of the relevant PVG/Police Scotland check; it will be deducted from salary following commencement of employment with the Company.
