Our client is a rapidly growing lettings agency based in Altrincham, operating across the wider North West. As they continue to grow their portfolio, they are looking for a driven and ambitious Lettings Negotiator to join their team.
This is an opportunity to build a career within a growing property business, with genuine scope to progress as the company expands.
You don't necessarily need previous lettings experience. However, you must have a genuine interest in property and the lettings market. They are not looking for someone simply wanting to move into another sales role, they are looking for someone who wants to develop within the property industry.
The Role
This is a full end-to-end lettings role, combining sales, customer service and property management responsibilities.
You'll be responsible for generating and converting leads, arranging and conducting viewings, qualifying applicants, negotiating tenancies and helping get deals over the line. Once a tenancy is agreed, you'll hand over to their tenancy progression team.
You'll also carry out property inspections, inventories, check-ins and check-outs across their managed portfolio.
Although you'll work from home, this is not a desk-based role. You'll spend a significant amount of time travelling to properties and appointments across the North West, so you must be comfortable with regular driving.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. Mileage is reimbursed at the standard HMRC rate.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Handling inbound and outbound enquiries.
- Generating and converting new lettings opportunities.
- Booking and conducting property viewings across the North West.
- Qualifying applicants and managing the application process.
- Negotiating and agreeing tenancies.
- Carrying out property inspections, inventories, check-ins and check-outs.
- Liaising with landlords, applicants and other stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records on their property management system.
- Managing your own diary and appointments effectively.
- Representing our client professionally at all times.
- Working within their established processes and ways of working.

Essential:
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Genuine interest in property and the lettings market.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Confident dealing with customers both over the phone and face-to-face.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage your own diary and work independently.
- Self-motivated, reliable and professional.
- Comfortable working towards targets and converting opportunities.
- Ability to follow established processes and instructions.
Previous lettings or property experience is desirable, but not essential.
