Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our specialist Disabled Children's Team on a temporary, part-time basis to provide maternity cover.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team supporting disabled children and young people across the Calderdale district. Previous experience of working with children and families, together with community-based practice, is desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking statutory Occupational Therapy assessments for disabled children and young people up to the age of 18 within their home environments.

The team consists of Occupational Therapists, an Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Social Workers, and benefits from close working relationships with the Learning Disability Nursing Service and a range of partner organisations.
