Summary

​Equans is looking for a Food and Cleaning Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 35 hours per week. What will you deliver? •Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily. Ensuring full cover is provided regarding duty rosters and allocation of work to ensure effective completion of duties in line with the performance standards.• Supervision and control of standards of service delivered to the Trust at ward/departmental level which will include the delivery of the cleaning, along with patient food and beverage service.• Supervision of staff, including recruitment, interviewing, induction, training, control of absence, timekeeping, appraisal, performance, standards of behaviour and dress.•    Monitoring of staff attendance, in relation to lateness, childcare, and sickness absence, including offering support via completion of Occupational Health referrals where appropriate. Follow up by issuing of appropriate warnings or completing reviews in line with the relevant Trust Policies.• Conduct daily visual inspection and complete quality control checks.
