Class 1 HGV Driver - Night Shifts

Up to £21.58 per hour | £36.76 per hour Bank Holidays | Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday | Ongoing Work

The Best Connection Sheffield are currently recruiting for a number of experienced

Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of our client based in the

Worksop area.

We are looking for reliable drivers to work

evening/night shifts, with opportunities available on either

Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for

depot-to-depot trunking and some store deliveries. The role involves

minimal handball, making this a great opportunity for drivers looking for straightforward trunking work.

Available Shifts & Pay

Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday

Start times between

15:00 and 22:00

£21.58 per hour between 02:00 and 06:00

£18.04-£18.38 per hour outside of these hours

£36.76 per hour on Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

Depot-to-depot trunking

Some store deliveries

Following daily delivery schedules

Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness

Ensuring safe and compliant driving in accordance with UK road laws and regulations

Communicating effectively with the transport team regarding any issues or delays

Requirements

Valid

Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

Valid

Driver CPC

Valid

Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum

2 years' Class 1 driving experience

Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

Ability to provide x2 references
