Summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for their client based in Newcastle under Lyme. You will be required to drive a Class 1 Flat bed. The hours of work are Monday to Friday days shifts the work is guaranteed ongoing with permanent opportunities for the right drivers.

The work will start immediately following a successful driving assessment. The hourly rate of pay is £18.53 per hour. You will be required to undertake 2-3 deliveries per shift in well maintained vehicles and equipment

Responsibilities

Operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
Delivering bricks and building materials to customer sites
Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Delivering excellent customer service at delivery locations
Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and road transport regulations

There will be opportunities for suitable drivers to up-skill and obtain HIAB licences in the future after which duties will also involve operating HIAB equipment to load and unload products
