Cover Supervisor.
The school provides a supportive learning environment for secondary-aged pupils, and candidates with a particular
subject specialism are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Role
The school is seeking a Cover Supervisor, with
full-time, part-time, short-term and long-term opportunities available.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
• Supervise classes during teacher absence
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and work
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Keep pupils focused and engaged with their learning
• Support pupils across a range of subjects
The Successful Cover Supervisor Will Have:
• Experience working with
secondary-aged pupils – desirable
• A
subject specialism – desirable
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A confident and adaptable approach
• A willingness to support pupils across a range of subjects
