Summary

3.1.1 To provide specialist neuropsychological assessments of referred clients, using interview, formal psychometric and other assessment methods as appropriate. 3.1.2 To formulate and devise psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment, using a range of specialist psychological interventions (e.g., cognitive-behavioural) appropriate to the clients presenting problem. 3.1.3 To provide specialist neuropsychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals within IILT Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team, social services and other health services to assist in the formulation, diagnosis and treatment of clients. 3.1.4 To provide reports and communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of clients. 3.1.5 To undertake responsibilities as a member of the multiprofessional IILT Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team, including attending team meetings. 3.1.6 To liaise with specialist units around the country with whom Islington patients are placed, monitoring the rehabilitation programmes provided in the units and planning for discharge back to local services. 3.1.7 To liaise with other health and social care staff, from a range of agencies, in the care provided to clients This is not an exhaustive list, please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for more information on the role requirements and duties.
