About the role
We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in
Trowbridge (BA14), supporting
four adults aged 30s-50s with
Profound or Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), epilepsy and complex health needs.
You'll provide
1:1 and 2:1 support, helping people enjoy active and fulfilling lives while supporting their health, wellbeing and day-to-day routines.
The people we support enjoy:
* Hydrotherapy and swimming
* Listening to music and sensory experiences
* Playing video games
* Exploring new interests and opportunities
* Days out and visiting places they enjoy
* Holidays and making new memories
Support includes:
* Supporting people with their personal care
* Using hoists and supporting wheelchair users
* Administering medication
* Supporting people with eating and drinking
* PEG feeding and specialist health support
* Supporting people to take part in the things they enjoy
* Working closely with colleagues and family members to provide consistent support
Full training will be provided, including training for specialist health needs and equipment.
Shifts:
* 7:00am - 4:00pm
* 4:00pm - 10:00pm
* 9:00am - 9:00am the following day (includes sleep-in)
* 10:00pm - 7:00am sleep-in (£50 paid to sleep)
Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
About you
You'll be a great fit if you're:

Experience is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
