Summary

Role Overview

As a Grade 3 Trainee Manager at Majestic Wine Bangor, you will undertake a 12-month career development programme designed to build the operational, service, and leadership skills required to become a future Store Manager. You will act as a key brand ambassador, driving store sales performance and supporting junior team members.

Key Requirements & Specifics

Salary & Hours: £29,080.48 per annum | Permanent, 44 hours per week (must be available for evenings and weekends).

Licence & Travel: Essential to hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months (max 6 penalty points) to drive company vans. Must be flexible to travel and support surrounding stores as needed.

Main Responsibilities

Sales & Leadership: Identify target KPIs to exceed sales goals, host tasting events, manage the tasting counter, and offer a VIP concierge service to build customer loyalty.

Store Operations & Deliveries: Hands-on involvement in day-to-day running, including van deliveries, stock merchandising, telesales calls, and store maintenance.

Development & Compliance: Actively pursue product learning (including WSET qualifications), maintain full legal and policy compliance, and progress through the 12-month leadership training pathway.
