THE ROLE

As an Experienced Alloy Wheel Technician, you will be responsible for the professional repair, refurbishment and finishing of alloy wheels to a high-quality standard. You'll work as part of a skilled automotive repair team, ensuring every wheel is repaired efficiently, safely and returned to an excellent finish.

Key Responsibilities:

·Inspect alloy wheels to identify damage, assess repair requirements and determine the appropriate repair process

·Carry out alloy wheel refurbishment and repairs, including preparation, straightening and refinishing

·Prepare wheels for painting and apply appropriate finishes to achieve a high-quality result

·Carry out colour matching and finishing work to ensure repaired wheels meet required standards

·Inspect completed repairs and rectify any imperfections where required

·Work closely with the wider bodyshop and workshop team to maintain efficient vehicle throughput

·Maintain specialist tools, equipment and working areas in a clean and safe condition

·Follow quality standards, manufacturer procedures and Health & Safety requirements at all times

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Alloy Wheel Technician who takes pride in their workmanship and has excellent attention to detail.

·Proven experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician within an automotive repair, bodyshop or wheel refurbishment environment

·Strong knowledge of alloy wheel repair and refurbishment processes

·Experience with wheel preparation, refinishing and finishing techniques

·Ability to identify different types of alloy wheel damage and select appropriate repair methods

·Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes

·Ability to work efficiently and accurately within a busy production environment

·Reliable, professional and motivated approach to work

·Strong team player with good communication skills

·Ability to maintain high standards of Health & Safety and workshop cleanliness

·Ideally IMI and/or relevant industry qualifications (advantageous but not essential)

·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
