We’re looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team at The Compleat Food Group in Bradley Stoke, Bristol.

This is a varied and practical role where no two days are quite the same. Working closely with the Facilities Manager and wider

Engineering team, you’ll help ensure our site services, plant and equipment remain safe, reliable and efficient – keeping our busy

food manufacturing operation moving.

Shift Pattern:  4 On 4 Off 06:00-18:00

What you’ll be doing

* Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant, equipment and site services.

* Responding to faults and breakdowns, using your technical knowledge to diagnose problems and identify root causes.

* Implementing effective, sustainable repairs and solutions to maximise equipment reliability and availability.

* Completing maintenance activities safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

* Following planned maintenance schedules across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activities.

* Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety requirements, safe systems of work, standard operating procedures and relevant

legislation.

* Maintaining accurate engineering and maintenance records so documentation is always complete and audit-ready.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is practical, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

* Previous experience within a Facilities, Site Services, Maintenance or Engineering role, or relevant experience gained through

an Engineering apprenticeship.

* Electrical and/or mechanical maintenance skills.

* Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

* The ability to turn identified problems into practical and sustainable solutions.

* A strong commitment to working safely and following procedures.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Confidence working both independently and as part of a diverse team.

* Good computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
