What's involved with this role:
Triumph Consultants are looking for a Markets Operative to provide a range of operational services that ensures the safe and efficient day to day function of the Markets team. Contract is for 3 months in Bristol BS1 1JQ.
Markets Operative
Pay Rate: £13.47 per HOUR PAYE
Hours per week: between 20-37 hrs per week Monday - Saturday and potential Sunday hrs.
Contract length: 3 months
Location: Bristol, BS1 1JQ
Shifts either 6:00 - 14:00 or 10:00 - 18:00 with some half shifts 13:00 - 18:00
Key requirements:
Previous experience in a related capacity - indoor or outdoor markets, events or public open space site management
Willing and able to carry out various manual handling and heavy lifting
Experience in use of mechanical equipment, hand tools, materials and cleaning products
Good communication skills in dealing with people in a customer care environment
Key responsibilities:
Carry out a range of cleaning, waste disposal and recycling tasks and effectively operate mechanical cleaning equipment when necessary
Secure premises and open space sites and operate building security and fire alarm systems
Provide an on-site security presence to address anti-social behaviour and crime issues
Set up, move and dismantle market and event equipment
Carry out minor repairs and maintenance to buildings
