Summary
Drive vehicles across the country for £125 to £200 a day. We book and pay for your travel. Your route starts and finishes at your front door.
Gotmoves moves vehicles for dealer groups, rental fleets and online car marketplaces. We are taking on more self-employed drivers around Sheffield, where we also run our only physical site.
Most vehicle delivery work leaves you to find your own way to the collection point and pay for it yourself. Ours does not. We plan a full day's route around where you live and offer it to you as one price, so you set off from home in the morning and finish at home at night. We book and pay for the rail and the travel between vehicles, and fuel is expensed back to you weekly.
What you get:
£125 to £200 a day, paid weekly
Travel booked and paid for by us, and fuel expensed back weekly. Nothing comes off your rate
Trade plates supplied, and the vehicle is insured while it is in your care
A full day's work in one planned route, not single jobs you have to chase or bid for
Routes offered to you in the app the day before. Take the ones you want, turn down the ones you do not
You decide which days you make yourself available, Monday to Friday
No long-term contract and no exclusivity. Work with anyone else you like
What the work is:
Collect a vehicle, photograph and record its condition in our app, drive it to where it is going, hand it over and record the delivery. A typical route is two or three vehicles, starting around Sheffield and running out across England and Wales.
We are straight with people about the standard. The condition report, customer service and the proof of delivery matter as much as the driving, and vehicles worth a great deal of money are handed over on trust.
