You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and professionally while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing deliveries and collections in line with scheduled routes• Loading, securing and checking curtainside loads• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Following road safety, transport and site procedures• Communicating professionally with transport teams and customersSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence• Current Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous experience driving curtainsider vehicles• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations• Strong safety awareness and a reliable approach• Good communication and time-management skills• Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedulesAbout the companyThe organisation provides integrated logistics and supply chain services, including road freight, contract logistics, warehousing and related technology.
