Its operations include general haulage, deliveries, imports and exports, and flexible warehouse services for businesses across the region and beyond.The roleWe are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support daytime delivery operations in and around Hereford. This temporary opportunity would suit a reliable driver who is confident handling goods and delivering a professional service.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing local and regional deliveries• Loading, unloading and handballing palletised goods• Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Providing professional customer service at delivery locations• Following relevant road safety, transport and site proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Previous commercial driving experience• Confident with handballing and the manual handling of goods• Good knowledge of road safety and safe working practices• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Professional attitude and clear communication skills• Ability to complete delivery documentation accuratelyWhat’s on offer• £16 to £17 per hour• Temporary, daytime work• Weekly pay every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with strong handballing skills and are available for daytime temporary work in Hereford, this could be a suitable opportunity.Apply today.
