We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team and play a key role in helping every child achieve their full potential.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant who is passionate about learning, committed to raising standards and able to work collaboratively with teachers, pupils, parents and colleagues.The RoleAs a HLTA, you will:• Deliver high-quality learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes at KS1 and KS2.• Plan, prepare and deliver learning programmes under the guidance of teaching staff.• Cover classes during teacher absence, ensuring continuity of learning.• Support pupils with a range of abilities and needs to achieve their best outcomes.• Contribute to assessment, monitoring and recording of pupil progress.• Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support children's learning and wellbeing.We Are Looking for Someone Who:• Holds HLTA status or has equivalent qualifications and experience.• Has experience of working within a primary school setting.• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.• Can inspire, motivate and engage pupils.• Is flexible, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.We Offer:• Enthusiastic, friendly and well-behaved children who enjoy learning.• A supportive and dedicated staff team.• Opportunities for professional development and career progression.• A positive and inclusive school community.• A commitment to staff wellbeing.Safeguarding StatementOdyssey Educational Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
