Summary
Highdown School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Sixth Form Welfare Lead, to join our vibrant Sixth Form Team. This role would be suited to candidates with a strong administrative background and also experience in a pastoral role within schools. If you have a passion for working with young people, with a focus on students’ social and emotional development and are looking to work within a supportive and professional team, we would love to hear from you!Your opportunity:
To provide pastoral support for all Sixth Form students and promote student welfare, including monitoring attendance.To remove any barriers to learning to support the student's achievements and oversee the Year 12 mentoring scheme.To be the Designated Safeguarding Officer for the Sixth Form Safeguarding issues.To administer all aspects of the 16-19 Bursary Programme
To promote a professional and friendly point of call to all Sixth Form Students, Parents and Carers, external agencies and visitors to our school.
