Summary
The Best Connection Wolverhampton is currently
recruiting for a Steel Operative
to join our client in Wolverhampton.
Working hours are: Monday to Thursday 07:00-14:00
Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour
Duties
:
Operate an overhead crane to load, unload, and position steel beams.
Secure loads using approved rigging techniques to prevent shifting or damage during lifting operations.
Assist in the operation of other machinery as required.
Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
Operate a band saw safely and efficiently.
Requirements
:
Previous experience in a steel manufacturing, fabrication, or warehouse environment.
Overhead crane operating experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
