Summary

Join Our Team on Cedars Ward 

Cedars Ward is a dedicated 10‑bed male dementia ward providing compassionate, person‑centred care to individuals living with dementia, cognitive impairment and other organic illnesses. We are looking for a committed and caring Band 6 Charge Nurseto join our close‑knit team and help us deliver exceptional support and care to our patients.

In this role, you’ll build meaningful relationships with the men in our care, supporting them with daily living activities, promoting dignity and independence, and contributing to a calm, therapeutic environment. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues who value teamwork, empathy, and a positive attitude.

You’ll be working alongside dedicated multidisciplinary teams, using your skills to deliver person-centred care in line with our values of kindness, fairness, ingenuity and determination.

Duties include but are not limited to ;

• acting as a role model and nurse in charge

• completing risk assessments and care plans

• supporting with clinical and management supervision

• Supporting discharge planning and bed management

• providing holistic care to patients living with dementia

• Supporting carers and families of those admitted to the ward

• Completing audits and acting on the findings
