Nursery Assistant, Alderman, Darlington– Up to £15 per Hour

Role Overview

Completely Care is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Assistants to support nursery settings across Alderman, Darlington and the surrounding areas.

No formal childcare qualifications are required for this role, making it a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in Early Years, start a career in childcare, or build on existing experience working with children.

You will support qualified nursery staff with the day-to-day care of children, helping to create a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and develop.

Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Assistant, you may be involved in:

Supporting children during play and learning activities

Helping with mealtimes and daily routines

Assisting qualified nursery staff with the care of children

Creating a safe, positive and welcoming environment

Encouraging children's development through play

Supporting children with their individual needs

Building positive relationships with children and staff

Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised nursery environment

Requirements

You do not need a formal childcare qualification for this role.

We are looking for people who are:

Friendly, caring and approachable

Reliable and responsible

Enthusiastic about working with children

Patient and understanding

Confident working as part of a team

Passionate about supporting children's learning and development

Willing to learn and gain experience within Early Years

Able to provide an Enhanced DBS check or willing to obtain one

Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
