Theatre Support Worker opportunities have become available at the the RDH in Orthopaedic Theatres. 

No experience? No problem. We will teach you everything you need to know. To us, it is more important that you are a caring and kind person with a genuine desire to help and support patients and our multi disciplinary team. If this sounds like you, then you already have the skills that make a great Theatre Support Worker.

Full time and part time positions are available, and we are open to discuss flexible working arrangements. This opportunity is available for candidates who have the right to work in the UK.

Working under supervision, TSWs duties will include communication with patients. Assisting with clinical duties and personal care including infection prevention and control,  personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort, and safety.

Duties may include

- The preparation of the operating theatre

- Maintaining cleanliness of the theatre specialised equipment

- Complete theatre care plans

- Stock rotation

- Support patients in the anaesthetic room

- Circulating duties

Qualifications & Experience Required

NVQ Level 2/3 in healthcare gained by working in a vocational capacity or evidence of relevant equivalent experience.

Care Certificate gained by working in a vocational capacity (we will not accept an online care certificate).
