This vacancy is an exciting opportunity to work in the renal unit as a part of a multidisciplinary team. the contract is a part time 30 hrs/week and you'll be rotating regularly between haemodialysis and Renal Day Case Unit. Experience in renal is appreciated but it's not a requirement as full training and support will be provided. We are a friendly team and good team players. The role on Renal day case is mainly focused around assisting invasive procedures in our procedure room and renal biopsies or central lines insertion. Helping the RN on welcoming the patient to the unit, pre procedure preparation and post care. You will also help with patient flow. You'll be offered further training in cannulation and venipuncture if you are interested. In haemodialysis you'll be train in dialysis vascular access, cannulation of access and accessing central lines. You'll be also trained on competencies to dialyse patients on haemodialysis machines and possible complications. As a part of the team you'll escalate any issues to the Registered nurse on duty/ in charge. Working Pattern: 30 hrs a week in rotation with haemodialysis long early 7:30 to 18:30 long late 12:00 to 23:00. Monday to Saturday. Depending on your shift pattern and working hours, you may also receive additional enhancements to your pay.
