Summary
We're looking for a Foreperson to join our team based in Hogsmill STW, Surrey.
Location: Hogsmill STW, SurreyHours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Foreperson, you'll play a vital role in managing safety on site and ensuring all tasks are carried out with the highest level of expertise and skill. You'll be supervising site operatives, coordinating daily activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This is a great opportunity to take on responsibility and make a real impact on site operations.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Foreperson, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering safe and effective site operations. Your day to day will include:
-Managing safety on site including delivering inductions, Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Briefings and Point of Work assessments
-Supervising site operatives and allocating duties to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
-Implementing work safety plans, method statements and risk assessments in line with relevant documentation
-Maintaining daily records of site activities and monitoring plant reports
-Identifying and resolving hazards on site to maintain control of the works area
What are we looking for?
This role of Foreperson is great for you if:
-You have demonstrable knowledge and practical application of the set up and day to day running of a construction site
-You hold an NVQ Level 1/2 qualification
-You have a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card - Supervisor - Gold, Experienced Supervisor or Manager
-You hold SSSTS or SMSTS certification
-You have experience with civils works including groundworks, RC structures, and pipelaying
