Summary

The post holder will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Colposcopy patient pathway, ensuring patients progress through referral, diagnosis, treatment and discharge within national waiting time targets. This includes tracking patients, managing appointments, maintaining failsafe systems, communicating results, responding to patient and GP enquiries, and proactively identifying and resolving pathway delays. The role also provides administrative support to the Colposcopy Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), including attending meetings, preparing patient lists, ensuring clinical information is available, recording outcomes, and maintaining MDT trackers to support timely clinical decision-making. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for accurate data collection, analysis and reporting. This includes maintaining local and national databases.
