Summary
We are looking for a female support worker to support an adult female with her morning and lunchtime routine at home, to maintain her independence and provide support to her family. (This job advertisement for females only falls as an exception under the Equality Act 2010.) Responsibilities:
To assist the client with showering and dressing, and with personal hygiene tasks.
To prepare lunch for client.
To prompt client to take medication and supplements.
To assist with the client’s exercises for maintenance of health condition.
To be comfortable with helping client move around, for instance transferral from a chair to wheelchair. Some manual handling will be required.
To cover for other members of staff whilst on annual leave.
To be aware of the client’s wellbeing, ensuring the client remains safe and well at all times.
To undertake any further training if required.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references. We are not able to offer sponsorship so proof of Right to Work in the UK is essential.
