An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager to join the IT Department at Milton Keynes Hospital. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of the next exciting phase of IT Programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have proven experience providing high-quality project management using recognised methodology, preferably in a healthcare environment, be an excellent communicator and pay close attention to detail.

The aim of this role is to manage a number of Pathology-IT projects overseen by the IT Programme Board to support the delivery of the Informatics Strategy and Roadmap to accelerate the achievement of digital maturity across MKUH.

Working on overarching Trust-wide projects, the post-holder will be responsible for achieving the successful implementation of new digital solutions, facilitating clinical adoption and the delivery of outlined benefits. This involves overseeing data collection, planning and monitoring of projects, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met, that solutions are fully tested and robust training plans are in place.

Essentially, the post-holder will facilitate strong stakeholder engagement to ensure the integration of key clinical, managerial and operational processes which underpin successful delivery of projects.

• Develop project plans, clearly outlining milestones, risks and outcome measures

• Lead on the delivery of assigned projects, working alongside clinical and other colleagues to secure successful outcomes
